Yes. The main character count includes all characters — letters, numbers, spaces, punctuation, and line breaks. If you need the count without spaces, look at the “No Spaces” box in the breakdown section below the text area.
Twitter counts all characters in a tweet, but URLs are automatically shortened and counted as exactly 23 characters regardless of their actual length. Emojis may count as 2 characters on Twitter. This counter shows raw character count — Twitter’s own interface may show a slightly different number for tweets containing URLs or emojis.
It depends on the platform. In standard Unicode, most emojis are 2 bytes and may count as 1 or 2 characters depending on how the platform counts them. Twitter counts most emojis as 2 characters. This calculator counts emojis based on their JavaScript string length, which may differ slightly from platform-specific counts.
Google displays page titles in search results up to approximately 600 pixels wide. Titles longer than about 60 characters are typically truncated with “…” at the end, cutting off part of your title. Keeping titles under 60 characters ensures your full title appears in search results without being cut off.
