⚙️ How It Works
300+ Unique Cards
The generator pulls from a library of over 300 carefully written truths and dares across all four intensity levels, ensuring you rarely see the same card twice.
No Repeat Logic
Recent cards are tracked so the same prompt doesn’t appear back-to-back. You’ll cycle through a large portion of the deck before any repeats occur.
4 Intensity Levels
Mild is family-friendly. Medium suits friend groups. Spicy pushes comfort zones with personal questions. Wild is for parties where anything goes.
Pass & Play
Designed for mobile — pass your phone around the circle. The large card display is easy to read across the table. No app download needed.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Truth or Dare works with as few as 2 players and as many as you want. The classic way to play is in a circle — one person generates a card and the next person in the circle must answer or complete it. With larger groups (8+), you can also nominate a specific person for each card.
The standard house rule is that refusing a dare means you must answer a truth instead — and the group picks which truth. Another popular rule is that refusing means you take a “penalty” that the group decides (like a social media post, a funny photo, or performing an embarrassing act). Set your house rules before starting so everyone agrees upfront.
Wild level is designed for adults only — it contains prompts that are mature, very personal, or involve physical challenges that may not be appropriate for younger players. For teens, we recommend sticking to Mild or Medium levels. The Mild level is specifically designed to be fun and engaging for all ages including family game nights.
